About Elpido

Elpido is a technology-enabled home services platform connecting customers with trained and verified service partners for services such as babysitting, new mother assistance, housekeeping and other home-care services.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Content Creator who can bring Elpido's brand to life through engaging, modern and social-media-first content.

You will be responsible for creating the visual content that customers and potential service partners see every day.

Key Responsibilities

1. Short-Form Video Creation

Create high-quality, engaging videos primarily for:

- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Facebook Reels
- Paid advertisements
- Partner recruitment campaigns
- Customer acquisition campaigns

Content could include:

- Educational videos
- Explainer videos
- Customer stories
- Partner stories
- UGC-style videos
- Testimonials
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Trending Reel formats
- Problem/solution videos
- Founder-led content
- Service demonstrations
- App demonstrations

2. Video Shooting

- Plan and execute simple social-media video shoots.
- Shoot content using smartphones/cameras as required.
- Coordinate with Elpido employees, partners, customers and creators for shoots.
- Identify suitable locations, framing, lighting and compositions.
- Capture authentic UGC-style footage rather than relying only on highly polished advertising.

3. Video Editing

Edit short-form videos with:

- Strong opening hooks
- Captions/subtitles
- Transitions
- Music
- Sound effects
- Motion graphics
- Brand elements
- Appropriate pacing
- Strong CTAs

Videos should be optimized for retention and engagement, not simply visual quality.

4. Graphic Design

Create:

- Instagram posts
- Carousels
- Stories
- Posters
- Recruitment creatives
- Customer acquisition creatives
- Promotional banners
- App-related creatives
- Event creatives
- Digital advertisements




- Presentation/marketing materials when required

Maintain consistency with Elpido's visual identity.

5. Advertising Creatives

Work closely with the Social Media & Growth Executive to create multiple creative variations for campaigns.

For example:

Campaign: Become an Elpido Babysitting Partner

Create multiple versions with different:

- Headlines
- Hooks
- Visuals
- Formats
- CTAs
- Testimonials
- Earning messages

The objective is to identify which creative generates the best response.

6. Social Media Trends

- Monitor Instagram and YouTube trends.
- Identify relevant Reel formats and audio trends.
- Quickly adapt relevant trends for Elpido.
- Suggest new content ideas every week.
- Understand what makes content shareable and watchable.

7. UGC & Creator Content

- Coordinate with influencers and content creators.
- Provide creative briefs.
- Edit creator-generated content.
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form assets.
- Build a library of reusable content.

8. Brand Consistency

Ensure all creative output follows Elpido's:

- Logo usage
- Typography
- Brand colours
- Visual style
- Tone of voice
- Image/video standards

Tools & Skills

Strong working knowledge of several of the following:

- Canva
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- CapCut
- Figma
- Lightroom

You do not need to master every tool, but you must be able to independently produce professional social-media content.

What We Are Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, content creation or a similar role.
- Robust portfolio of Instagram Reels/short-form videos.
- Strong understanding of social-media-first design.




- Good understanding of typography, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create both static and video content.
- Good sense of storytelling.
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to experiment with different creative formats.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or coordinating others for content when required.

Portfolio Is Important

Applicants should submit a portfolio containing examples of:

- Reels
- Video edits
- Social media creatives
- Carousels
- Ad creatives
- Branding/design work

A strong portfolio is more important to us than a long list of qualifications.

You should be someone who:

- Understands Instagram culture.
- Notices trends early.
- Has strong visual instincts.
- Can turn an idea into a finished Reel quickly.

- Understands that content needs to generate business results, not just look good.

Your performance will be evaluated based on:

- Number and consistency of quality content produced
- Reel quality and retention
- Creative turnaround time
- Engagement generated by content
- Performance of paid advertising creatives
- Quality of UGC content
- Ability to produce multiple creative variations
- Contribution to customer and partner acquisition campaigns
