About Make My Health
Make My Health is a digital health product for the Indian market, currently building out a dedicated back pain, sciatica, and disc-problem program. The program combines guided exercise routines with camera-based, on-device posture and form detection technology designed to close the biggest gap between an online program and in-person physiotherapy: knowing whether a patient is actually doing the exercise correctly. We are looking for a physiotherapist to bring clinical rigor and hands-on expertise into this program, in direct patient contact, in shaping the product itself, and as the trusted clinical voice patients see in our educational content.
Role Overview
As our in-house physiotherapist, you will be the clinical backbone of the back pain program reviewing and refining program content, screening and consulting with users over video, and directly validating whether the program is delivering real clinical outcomes (not just engagement). You will also work closely with the product team, translating your hands-on expertise into the rules and cues that power our camera-based form-correction feature. Alongside clinical work, you will be a visible, recurring presence in Make My Health's patient education and social media content the credible clinical face patients see and trust before, during, and after they use the app.
This is a high-trust, high-visibility role for a physiotherapist who wants to shape how physiotherapy is delivered and communicated digitally, at scale, in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct video-based patient assessments, screenings, and follow-ups for back pain, sciatica, and disc-related cases.
- Review and improve exercise routines, progressions, safety guidance, and escalation criteria.
- Work with product and engineering teams to define clinically accurate form-correction rules and cues.
- Track patient outcomes, flag safety or content issues, and support continuous program improvement.
- Create and appear in simple, medically accurate patient education content for social media.
What We're Looking For
- BPT / MPT (Bachelor's or Master's in Physiotherapy) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Physiotherapy Council / Indian Association of Physiotherapists (or equivalent).
- 2+ years of clinical experience, with meaningful exposure to musculoskeletal conditions — back pain, sciatica, disc issues, or related orthopedic/spinal cases.
- Comfortable and effective delivering assessments and coaching over video call — telehealth experience is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills; able to explain clinical reasoning simply, both to patients and to a non-clinical product/engineering team.
- Comfortable being on camera and speaking to a lay, non-clinical audience — able to simplify clinical concepts into short, engaging patient education content without losing accuracy.
- Willing to be a recurring, public-facing presence for the brand across social media.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with app-based, telehealth, or hybrid physiotherapy delivery.
- Prior involvement in a clinical pilot, outcomes study, or similar structured evaluation.
- Existing experience creating health, fitness, or wellness content for Instagram/YouTube — an existing personal following in this space is a strong plus but not required.
Work Arrangement
This role is entirely remote and video-based, you do not need to be located near our office, and there is no in-person clinic component at this stage. We are open to either a part time arrangement (roughly 20–25 hours/week, ideal for a physiotherapist balancing another practice or clinic) or a full-time, dedicated role, and will shape the exact structure around the right candidate. Core need is reliable availability for scheduled patient video consults, a few hours weekly for content/product collaboration, and roughly 2–4 hours weekly set aside specifically for scripting and recording educational video content.
Skills:- Physiotherapist, physical therapy, Patient Education, Exercise Prescription, Health care IT, Healthcare, orthopedics, Patient Counselling, Video Consultation, Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Exercises
