Job Position - Assembly Process -Manufacturing Technology

- Exp Required - 4+ years in the automobile industry only
- Job Description:
- Handle day-to-day assembly process activities on the vehicle production line.
- Improve cycle time, productivity, quality, and manpower utilization.
- Prepare and update SOP, Work Instructions, Process Flow, PFMEA and Control Plan.
- Conduct time study and line balancing for assembly stations.
- Work on torque tools and poka-yoke implementation.
- Support new model development, trial runs and production ramp-up.
- Identify assembly problems and perform root-cause analysis .
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D; and Tooling teams to resolve process issues.
- Implement Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing and cost-reduction activities.
- Monitor cycle time, rejection, rework, OEE and line productivity.




- Support installation and commissioning of current assembly equipment and stations.
- Ensure proper process standardization, safety and quality compliance.
- Knowledge of battery-operated assembly tools and their application in vehicle assembly.
- Ability to select appropriate DC/battery tools based on torque range, joint characteristics, accessibility, cycle time, and process requirements.
- Digital Mock-Up (DMU) for Process Accessibility & Feasibility
- Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of 4-wheeler vehicle assembly processes.
- Practical experience in line balancing and time study.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience with poka-yoke, fixtures, torque tools and assembly equipment.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SAP/ MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.
