Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced PLC Maintenance professional with strong expertise in Allen Bradley PLC systems and robotics like KUKA/Comau, Fanuc, etc. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring breakdown prevention, BIW Maintenance, spot welding, etc

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication networks.
- Perform online diagnostics using RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, and Studio 5000 software.
- Analyze PLC logic, identify root causes of equipment failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to uptime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE/OPE targets through effective maintenance practices.
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance of PLC, HMI, drives, sensors, field instruments, and automation systems.
- Manage PLC program backups, version control, and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot communication networks such as EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and other industrial protocols.
- Perform fault diagnosis and maintenance of industrial robots such as KUKA, Comau, and associated robotic control systems.
- Support commissioning, integration, and modification of automation equipment and production lines.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams for machine optimization and continuous improvement projects.




- Analyze recurring breakdowns and lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) activities for automation-related failures.
- Maintain technical documentation, electrical drawings, PLC architecture, and maintenance records.
- Plan critical spare parts for automation systems and ensure inventory availability.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians and team members.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in PLC Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix).
- Experience with RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, and Studio 5000 programming and troubleshooting.
- Sound knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, Servo Drives, Sensors, and Industrial Networks.
- Hands-on experience with Robots such as KUKA, Comau, ABB, Fanuc, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and automation architecture.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC programs, and network layouts.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or automated production environments will be preferred.
