We are looking for an experienced Fund Compliance Manager to manage the organisation’s fund-related finance, accounting, reporting, regulatory compliance and control functions.

The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, fund accounting, regulatory and statutory compliance, cash-flow management, audit coordination and effective financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Accounting & Financial Management

* Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations relating to funds and investment entities.
* Ensure accurate accounting of investments, income, expenses, capital calls, distributions and other fund transactions.
* Review bank, investment and ledger reconciliations.
* Review NAV calculations and supporting schedules, where applicable.
* Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting documentation.

2. Fund Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

* Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory, accounting and tax requirements.
* Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of all filings, returns and regulatory submissions.
* Monitor compliance with fund-related agreements, policies and internal procedures.
* Coordinate with legal, compliance and external advisors on regulatory matters.

3. Audit & Taxation

* Coordinate statutory, internal, tax and fund audits.
* Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and management responses.
* Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and other qualified advisors.




* Ensure timely completion of tax filings and related compliances.
* Monitor tax positions, withholding requirements and other applicable tax obligations.
* Track and close audit observations within agreed timelines.

4. Financial Reporting & MIS

* Prepare and review periodic financial reports, management dashboards and MIS.
* Provide analysis of fund performance, expenses, cash flows and financial position.
* Prepare variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
* Present relevant financial and compliance information to senior management.
* Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all management reporting.

Preferred Experience

* Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

* Key Deliverables
* Timely and accurate financial reporting and fund accounting.
* 100% timely completion of statutory and regulatory compliances.
* Accurate and timely NAV / fund reporting, where applicable.
* Timely closure of audit and compliance observations.
* Effective maintenance of financial controls and documentation.
* Smallcase, Mutual Fund, and AIF Accounting and compliance need to be done by the candidate.
