Newfold Digital is seeking for a technically strong and handson Engineering Manager who can lead highperforming engineering teams while continuing to provide strong technical direction The role combines people leadership architecture engineering excellence product delivery and AIfirst development practices Who We Are The ideal candidate is a strong technology leader who can translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions make sound architectural decisions mentor engineers and drive teams toward highquality and predictable delivery A key expectation of this role is to champion AIfirst software development enabling engineering teams to leverage AI across the development lifecycle while maintaining high standards of quality security reliability and maintainability Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Architecture Provide strong technical leadership and direction across the engineering team while remaining sufficiently handson to guide complex technical decisions Design develop and scale complex highperformance systems using appropriate architectural patterns for both horizontal and vertical scalability Own and influence architectural decisions technical strategy technology choices and engineering standards Translate product and business requirements into explicit technical plans architecture milestones and execution strategies Evaluate technical tradeoffs across scalability performance reliability security maintainability and timetomarket Identify opportunities for modernization simplification automation and technology adoption AIFirst Engineering Establish and champion AIfirst software development practices across the engineering organization Drive the effective use of LLMs and AIpowered development tools across the software lifecycle including requirements analysis architecture coding code modernization testing debugging documentation code reviews and knowledge discovery Establish engineering best practices for using AI while maintaining appropriate standards for code quality security privacy reliability and architectural integrity Identify opportunities to use AI and intelligent automation to significantly improve developer productivity engineering velocity and software quality Encourage experimentation with emerging AI technologies and help the team move successful experiments into reliable production solutions People Leadership Lead mentor and grow a highperforming team of engineers Establish a culture of ownership accountability continuous learning technical excellence and collaboration Provide regular technical and career mentorship and help engineers grow into increasingly larger responsibilities Participate in hiring team building performance management and succession planning Create an environment where engineers are empowered to make decisions while maintaining strong technical and delivery standards Engineering Excellence Delivery Drive engineering teams toward predictable highquality delivery while maintaining a strong focus on quality reliability and customer impact Establish and continuously improve development practices around code quality unit testing automated testing Git CI CD code reviews and release management Work effectively within Agile Scrum development processes and continuously improve team execution Identify and remove technical organizational and process bottlenecks that impact engineering velocity Establish appropriate metrics and mechanisms to improve engineering productivity quality reliability and delivery predictability CrossFunctional Leadership Partner closely with Product Design Architecture DevOps Security Data and other engineering teams to deliver highimpact products and capabilities Communicate technical decisions risks dependencies tradeoffs and delivery plans clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Balance shortterm delivery needs with longterm architectural and engineering investments Take ownership of ambiguous and complex problems and drive them to resolution What Youll Do How Youll Make Your Mark Technical Expertise Strong experience with modern web and software engineering technologies including several of the following Frontend HTML5 CSS JavaScript ES6 TypeScript React Redux Redux Middleware React Hooks Next jsBackend Java PHP Go Python Node js or equivalent backend technologiesArchitecture Distributed systems scalable architectures APIs microservices performance optimization eventdriven systems and asynchronous processing using messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka or similar queueing technologiesEngineering Practices Unit testing automated testing Git CI CD JenkinsCloud Infrastructure Kubernetes Docker API Gateways CDN Service Workers Elasticsearch and related cloudnative technologiesFrontend Architecture SPAs and
