AI Visual Lead – Fashion Catalog Services

About the Role

We are building an AI-powered fashion catalog production pipeline that generates static model shots, lifestyle shots, and product shots directly from garment/product inputs — replacing or augmenting traditional photoshoots with AI visual generation workflows.

We're looking for an AI Visual Lead to sit at the center of this pipeline: someone who can lead a small production team day-to-day, catch quality issues before they reach the client, unblock escalations fast, and bring a trained fashion eye to every output — ensuring garments drape, fit, fabric-texture, and color render true to the real product, and that model/lifestyle shots feel on-brand and market-ready.

This is a hybrid creative + technical + leadership role. You'll need equal comfort critiquing a photo in Photoshop, prompting/iterating an AI generation tool, and managing a team's daily throughput and quality bar.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Workflow Management

Supervise and mentor a team of AI visual generation artists/operators working on daily catalog output (model shots, lifestyle shots, product shots).

Own the daily production queue — assign work, track turnaround times, and ensure SLAs/deadlines are met.

Act as the first point of escalation for blockers: technical generation issues, garment-accuracy problems, tool limitations, or client-specific edge cases.

Run daily/weekly quality syncs and feedback sessions with the team to raise output standards over time.

2. Quality Control & Creative Review

Conduct final QC on all outputs before delivery — checking garment fidelity (color, texture, print placement, fit, drape), model realism, lighting consistency, and background/lifestyle context.

Compare AI-generated outputs against source garment inputs to catch inconsistencies (distorted logos, incorrect necklines, warped patterns,



mismatched proportions, etc.).

Maintain and evolve a QC checklist/style guide specific to fashion AI generation (skin tone accuracy, fabric behavior, pose naturalness, hands/accessories, shadow logic).

Flag and correct common AI generation artifacts using Photoshop before final delivery.

3. AI Visual Generation & Prompt Craft

Hands-on generation of model shots, lifestyle shots, and product shots using AI image generation tools/platforms.

Develop and refine prompting strategies, reference workflows, and input-preparation standards (garment flat-shots, mannequin shots, previous model references) to maximize output consistency.

Continuously test new AI tools, models, and techniques (e.g., virtual try-on, garment transfer, background generation) and recommend adoption where it improves quality or speed.

Build reusable templates/presets for recurring shot types (e.g., studio model shots, outdoor lifestyle shots, flat-lay product shots) to standardize team output.

4. Post-Production & Retouching

Perform or guide advanced Photoshop retouching: color correction, garment texture repair, background compositing, skin/hair refinement, and detail sharpening.

Ensure final assets meet e-commerce/catalog technical specs (resolution, aspect ratio, background/format requirements per platform).

5. Fashion & Brand Judgment

Apply fashion industry knowledge to ensure outputs reflect correct styling, seasonal relevance, garment construction logic, and brand aesthetic.

Partner with brand/client stakeholders to understand brand guidelines, mood boards, and campaign direction, translating them into AI generation briefs for the team.

Ensure diversity and realism in model representation (body type, skin tone, styling) consistent with brand and market expectations.

6. Process & Documentation





Document SOPs for input preparation, generation workflows, QC standards, and escalation handling.

Provide regular reporting to leadership on team output volume, quality metrics, recurring issues, and tool performance.

Identify recurring bottlenecks and propose process or tooling improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in a fashion, e-commerce, or apparel-brand visual/creative role (photography, retouching, catalog production, or digital styling).
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (retouching, compositing, color correction, batch editing) — required.
- Solid understanding of graphic design principles: composition, color theory, typography basics, layout for catalog/e-commerce use.
- Hands-on experience with AI image/visual generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, or fashion-specific AI generation/virtual try-on platforms) — required.
- Prior experience working with or for a fashion brand / apparel company / fashion e-commerce team — required (in-house, agency, or freelance).
- Strong eye for garment detail: fit, drape, fabric texture, print/pattern accuracy, and styling coherence.
- Experience reviewing/QCing creative output against brand guidelines.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of a small team (even informally) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills — able to give clear, constructive feedback and manage escalations calmly under deadline pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative production environment with evolving tools and processes.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
