About the Role

KKV Tea & Coffee Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Technologist & Quality Supervisor to oversee product quality, food safety, production hygiene and quality assurance activities at our tea and coffee manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, products, packaging and manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards and applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.

The role is ideal for someone with practical experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, particularly in products such as tea, coffee, beverages, instant mixes, premixes or other dry food products.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Quality Control

- Monitor and supervise quality checks of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials and finished products.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and ensure products meet approved specifications.
- Maintain quality standards for tea, coffee, instant coffee, premixes and other food products manufactured at the facility.
- Monitor critical control points and ensure compliance with established SOPs and food safety procedures.
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate product complaints and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure proper retention samples and batch-wise quality records are maintained.

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI requirements, food safety standards and internal quality systems.
- Assist in maintaining and implementing systems related to GMP, GHP, HACCP and food safety practices.
- Support documentation and compliance requirements for audits and certifications, including BRCGS, where applicable.




- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed across the production and packing areas.
- Conduct regular hygiene and quality inspections of the factory.

Production & Process Monitoring

- Supervise manufacturing and packing operations from a quality perspective.
- Ensure adherence to approved formulations, specifications and process parameters.
- Coordinate with the Production team to minimise quality issues, wastage and product rejections.
- Monitor batch records, production documentation and traceability requirements.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation and handling of rejected or non-conforming materials.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection records, batch records and other quality documentation.
- Maintain COAs, raw material specifications, finished product specifications and quality records.
- Assist in preparing and updating SOPs, work instructions and quality manuals.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
- Prepare regular reports on quality issues, rejections, complaints and corrective actions.

Team Supervision & Training

- Supervise quality checks carried out by production and shop-floor personnel.
- Train factory employees on hygiene, GMP, food safety and quality requirements.
- Create awareness among workers regarding contamination control, personal hygiene and proper manufacturing practices.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase and Management teams on quality-related matters.

Product Development Support

- Assist in product trials, new product development and formulation improvements.
- Evaluate recent raw materials and packaging materials from a quality and food safety perspective.
- Support shelf-life monitoring and product stability checks where required.
- Assist in standardising product specifications and manufacturing processes.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
