Job Title: Cost Estimation Engineer – HT Panel Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Estimation Engineer with hands-on knowledge of High Tension (HT) Panel manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, techno-commercial offers, and BOM costing for HT Panels, ensuring competitiveness and profitability while meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Review customer enquiries, tender documents, technical specifications, SLDs, and drawings.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HT Panels including VCB Panels, RMUs, Metering Panels, Control & Relay Panels, PCCs, MCCs, and associated systems.
- Develop and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) based on customer requirements and approved designs.
- Estimate material, fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, packing, transportation, and overhead costs.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, and Sales teams for technical and commercial inputs.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers for critical bought-out items such as VCBs, CTs, PTs, Relays, Busbars, Protection Systems, and other components.
- Analyze cost variations and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and support tender submissions.
- Maintain costing databases, standard cost sheets,



and historical project records.
- Participate in value engineering initiatives to improve profitability and competitiveness.
- Support management with budgetary estimates and project cost analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in HT Panel Manufacturing, Estimation, or Design Engineering.
- Strong understanding of HT Switchgear and Panel Manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of VCBs, Protection Relays, CT/PTs, Busbar systems, Cable Terminations, and Panel Accessories.
- Ability to read and interpret SLDs, GA Drawings, Schematic Drawings, and Technical Specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP Systems, and AutoCAD.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in costing and estimation of HT Panels up to 33 kV.
- Familiarity with IS/IEC standards and utility specifications.
- Experience in handling government and private sector tenders.

Compensation

As per industry standards and candidate experience

Pay: ₹15,624.79 - ₹48,065.26 per month
