Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns of production and utility equipment. • Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions. • Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick restoration of equipment. • Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules. • Monitor bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, shafts, couplings and pneumatic systems. • Handle maintenance of roasters, conveyors, packing/FFS machines, filling and capping machines, peanut processing machines, chikki machines and peanut butter processing equipment. • Supervise maintenance technicians and allocate daily jobs. • Guide technicians during breakdown and preventive maintenance activities. • Train technicians on troubleshooting, maintenance practices and safety. • Identify opportunities for machine modification, Kaizen and productivity improvement. • Support installation and commissioning of recent machines and coordinate with vendors. • Identify critical spare parts and coordinate with Stores/Purchase for availability
