Job Description:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.

- Develop and implement data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-volume datasets.

- Work with Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.

- Perform data ingestion, transformation, cleansing and validation.

- Develop high-performance Spark applications using Scala.

- Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Dataflow and Cloud Composer/Airflow.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Optimize data processing jobs for performance, scalability and reliability.

- Collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

- Follow best practices for coding, testing, version control and CI/CD.
