Key Responsibilities :

- Own machine availability and reduce mechanical downtime across blown film, gravure, lamination and converting lines.
- Build and run a preventive / predictive maintenance schedule — lubrication, alignment, bearing and gearbox condition monitoring, and wear-part planning.
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gearboxes, drive trains, chill rolls, nip and unwind / rewind assemblies, and web-handling components.
- Lead breakdown response and root-cause analysis; drive corrective actions so the same faults do not recur.
- Own the chiller and air-compressor systems — refrigeration circuit, water side, compression element, oil system, unloaders, belts and pneumatic parts — coordinating with the Electrical team on their motors, panels and controls, and managing any OEM / AMC support on the refrigeration and screw-element scope.
- Manage the mechanical side of the in-house workshop (lathe, milling, grinding, welding, metrology) for fabrication and part reconditioning.
- Plan and control spares — critical-spare lists, reorder levels, and vendor sourcing (local Ghana plus imports from India / UAE / China).
- Supervise, train and grow the mechanical team,



including local Ghanaian technicians.
- Coordinate with the Electrical & Electronics head on mechatronic faults that cross both domains.
- Enforce safety standards — lock-out / tag-out, machine guarding, and work-permit discipline.
- Maintain records — job cards, PM logs, breakdown history and spares consumption.Benefits & Relocation Package

The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:

- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
- Employment Type: Permanent Role.
- Job Location: Tema, Ghana, Africa.
- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
