Your impact

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to handle end‑to‑end design and engineering of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Warehouse Systems for industrial projects

- In this role, the individual will be responsible for the preparation of design deliverables including Design Basis, Concept Notes, MDS, MR, TBA, PR, along with vendor interaction and VDR review for a wide range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

- This includes, but is not limited to, stackers, reach trucks, dock levelers, forklifts, hydras, hydraulic platforms, pallet trucks, scissor lifts, goods lifts, passenger lifts, goods‑cum‑passenger lifts, hoists, EOT cranes, Galioth cranes, chain pulley block, jib cranes, and other types of cranes.
- You should have knowledge of selection of materials, paints based on hazardous area classification.
- The role also encompasses the design and specification of various racking systems, including conventional, non‑conventional, and automated systems, as well as pallets and related warehouse infrastructure.
- The candidate must be well‑versed in racking layouts, man‑material handling layouts, warehouse inventory planning, warehouse sizing, traffic management analysis, material selection, and MHE selection.
- In addition to warehouse systems,



the individual should possess sound knowledge of product filling and bagging systems, material conveying and transfer systems, palletizing solutions, and robotics‑based automation.
- A strong understanding of structural calculations, including force and moment calculations in racking systems and wheel‑load and wheelbase loading analysis, is essential.
- The candidate must be thoroughly familiar with and capable of applying relevant national and international codes and standards, including IS, ISO, EN, NFPA, NBC, and other applicable regulations.
- The role also requires a solid understanding of operational and safety requirements across multiple industries such as industrial plants, FMCG, chemicals and specialty chemicals, electric battery manufacturing, and Solar PV facilities.
- Additionally, the individual should have experience across all stages of engineering, including Concept, FEED, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, as well as cost estimation and man‑hour estimation
- You Should be able to manage team of engineers/ designers for successful completion of project, assignment as per the schedule and of stipulated quality.
- Understand the overall project schedule, make micro schedule for department activities, understand, list inputs required from other disciplines, client, and vendors. Ensure that right input is available for the team.




- Ensure that all the system, procedures and protocols are followed by the team.
- Control the manhours for the projects. Maintain continuous communication with team, client, vendors, and project management team.

Here's what you'll need

Education:

Education: BE- Mechanical (Post graduation will be added advantage but not mandatory)

Experience in material handling: 9 to 13 Years
