Job Title: Imports Manager

Role Overview

Gorang International is seeking a diligent and experienced Imports Manager to oversee and streamline our import operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously managing import documentation, coordinating international logistics, collaborating with internal financial teams, and ensuring strict compliance with trade regulations via the ICEGATE portal.

Key Responsibilities

● Review, verify, and manage all import documentation received from international suppliers, ensuring 100% accuracy and maintaining comprehensive documentation checklists.

● Correspond and coordinate seamlessly with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to oversee end-to-end import logistics and guarantee timely customs clearance.

● Liaise closely with internal accounts and banking teams to handle financial correspondence & ensure smooth processing of import trade transactions.

● Manage, execute, and monitor all Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) related compliance and operational workflows utilizing the ICEGATE portal.

● Monitor and track shipments in transit to ensure on-time delivery,



promptly resolving any logistical bottlenecks or documentation discrepancies.

● Stay fully updated on changes in import regulations, tariffs, customs duties, and international trade laws to ensure total organizational compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Proven track record and professional experience in import operations, international logistics, and customs clearance.

● Hands-on, practical experience with DGFT processes and navigating the ICEGATE portal is mandatory.

● Solid understanding of international trade documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin).

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective correspondence with global suppliers and agents.

● Strong cross-functional coordination skills, especially with finance and accounting.

● Working days – Monday – Saturday

● Timings -10:30a.m -6:30 p.m.
