Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer – Mechanical to manage and monitor manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain quality and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical manufacturing processes and a strong understanding of engineering drawings, production planning, machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and fitting.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities as per production targets.
- Ensure timely production while maintaining required quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and work instructions.
- Manage manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and fitting.
- Monitor manpower, machine utilization, material availability, and overall production efficiency.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Design/Engineering teams.
- Reduce rejection, rework, material wastage, cycle time, and machine downtime.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, process sheets, SOPs, and work instructions.




- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of production machinery, tools, and measuring instruments.
- Maintain shop-floor discipline and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical manufacturing/production.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC/VMC, machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and fitting will be preferred.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Good understanding of production planning and manpower management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/shop-floor workplace.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates from engineering manufacturing, machinery, fabrication, machining, or industrial production backgrounds will be preferred.

Salary: ₹35,000–₹45,000/month, depending on experience, technical skills, and interview performance.
