Role Overview

As a Product Designer I / Associate III – Product Design, you will be responsible for designing and developing human-centred digital products and experiences that are intuitive, accessible, visually engaging, and aligned with business objectives. You will work collaboratively with product, technology, business, and design teams to translate product vision and customer needs into meaningful, scalable design solutions.

The role requires a strong understanding of Human-Centred Design (HCD), Service Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, Visual Design, and Prototyping, along with the ability to solve complex design problems across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to Human-Centred Design and Service Design deliverables, including customer journeys, empathy maps, service blueprints, personas, experience maps, and other design artefacts.
- Define and establish interaction and visual design for a variety of digital interfaces, including websites, mobile applications, kiosks, wearables, games, and other emerging platforms.
- Translate brand guidelines into compelling digital brand expressions, visual systems, screen layouts, and user experiences that consistently reflect the brand's voice and identity.
- Design user flows, interaction models, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, MVPs, beta experiences, and production-ready interfaces.
- Create intuitive user interface elements and detailed UX specifications while adhering to established Design Language Systems (DLS), Design Systems, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Engineers, Business Stakeholders, Researchers, and fellow Designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Work on multiple complex product and platform challenges simultaneously, balancing user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and brand considerations.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing products and experiences through research,



usability insights, design exploration, and iterative prototyping.
- Incorporate Generative AI and emerging design technologies into ideation, exploration, content creation, prototyping, and design workflows where appropriate.
- Communicate design rationale and recommendations effectively through presentations, storytelling, workshops, and design reviews.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant discipline such as:
- Product Design
- Interaction Design
- Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
- Service Design
- Visual Communication
- New Media Design
- Universal Design
- Digital Design or a related field

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in digital/product design.
- Strong practical knowledge and project experience in Human-Centred Design and Service Design.
- Demonstrated experience designing digital products, platforms, and end-to-end user experiences.
- Solid foundation in visual design principles, including colour, typography, composition, hierarchy, grids, screen layouts, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, transitions, dynamic interactions, and interactive UI elements.
- Advanced hands-on proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, prototyping, design systems, and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design, usability, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, cross-platform experiences, and front-end development constraints.




- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and navigate complex design problems from concept through implementation.
- Strong visual communication, presentation, storytelling, documentation, and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- A strong design portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital/product design work is mandatory.

Preferred / Desired Skills

- Experience using Generative AI tools for ideation, design exploration, content generation, prototyping, and workflow acceleration.
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their application to digital product experiences.
- Experience developing and contributing to Design Systems and Design Language Systems.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS and an understanding of implementation challenges.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms and devices, including web, mobile, kiosks, wearables, and emerging interfaces.
