Job Description – Service Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Industry Preference: FMCG / Food & Beverage / Packaging / Industrial Automation

Travel: Pan India (Short Notice)

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial equipment at customer sites.
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, configure, and test equipment to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Provide in office and remote technical support to customers and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Conduct equipment inspections and pre-installation assessments before commissioning.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records,



and documentation after every service visit.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, service, and spare parts teams for technical support and issue resolution.
- Recommend spare parts, wear parts, and preventive maintenance solutions to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and customer site regulations.
- Maintain service tools, testing instruments, and equipment in proper working condition.
- Provide technical assistance to fellow service engineers and technicians when required.
- Be available for extensive Pan India travel, including short-notice assignments and occasional weekend or holiday support.
