Role & responsibilities

The Vice President Finance & Accounts is responsible for developing and executing the Company's financial strategy while ensuring robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, risk management, and long-term value creation. The position is accountable for all financial operations including accounting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), audit, banking, investor and lender relationships, working capital management, and business finance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance

● Develop and execute the Company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

● Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.

● Provide financial insights to the Managing Director and Board for informed decision-making.

Financial Planning & Reporting

● Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

● Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

● Monitor business performance through MIS, variance analysis, and profitability reports.

Accounting & Financial Control

● Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and timely financial closures.

● Oversee accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, and cost accounting.

● Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting policies.

Treasury & Working Capital

● Manage cash flow, banking operations, borrowings, and working capital.





● Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.

● Optimize fund utilization and finance costs.

Taxation & Compliance

● Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.

● Oversee statutory filings, tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance.

● Coordinate with auditors, Company Secretary, and regulatory authorities.

Audit & Risk Management

● Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.

● Implement audit recommendations and strengthen governance.

● Identify financial risks and establish effective mitigation measures.

Cost & Business Finance

● Monitor product costing, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.

● Support pricing decisions, investment evaluations, and capital expenditure proposals.

● Provide financial support to manufacturing, sales, procurement, and operations.

Leadership & Process Improvement

● Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

● Drive ERP utilization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Establish departmental KPIs and ensure high standards of performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

● Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience

● 18 to 25 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.

● Experience in manufacturing or Building materials industry.

● Exposure to budgeting, taxation, treasury, audits, banking, and Board-level financial reporting.
