We are seeking an energetic, patient, and passionate Pre-Primary Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 6 years can begin their educational journey. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for young children and a strong understanding of play-based, experiential learning methodologies to foster emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Management & Safety
- Maintain a secure, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to early learning and child safety.
- Monitor children closely during all activities, including classroom time, meal breaks, and outdoor play.
- Establish gentle and positive behavioral guidelines to help children learn self-regulation and social cooperation.
2. Curriculum Implementation & Delivery
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons utilizing play-based learning, storytelling, rhymes, and interactive games.
- Introduce foundational concepts in language (phonics, basic vocabulary), numeracy, and environmental awareness.
- Organize creative extracurricular activities such as arts and crafts, music, dance, and basic physical exercises to develop fine and gross motor skills.
3. Child Assessment & Observation
- Observe and assess each child's individual progress, behavioral patterns, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain organized portfolios of children's artwork, worksheets, and progress reports.
- Identify any learning or behavioral gaps early and work collaboratively with school coordinators to address them.
4. Parent Communication & Collaboration
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) to provide constructive feedback on child development.
- Maintain open, daily communication channels with parents regarding child health, behavior, and classroom updates.
- Participate actively in school events, annual days, festival celebrations, and open houses.
Requirements & QualificationsAcademic & Certifications
- Minimum Education: Graduation or a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
- Specialized Training (Preferred): A completed diploma or certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Pre-Primary Teacher Training Course (PPTTC), Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), or Montessori Teacher Training.
Core Competencies & Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; familiarity with the local language is a plus.
- High levels of patience, empathy, and emotional resilience when handling young learners.
- Strong creative abilities in art, craft, drawing, puppetry, or storytelling.
- Basic computer literacy for creating simple digital progress tracking sheets or communicating with parents
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
