QC Engineer – Construction

Location: CCI Site, Thiruvallur
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Industry: Construction

Job Responsibilities

- Monitor the quality of construction work at site.
- Check reinforcement as per structural drawings and specifications.
- Carry out reinforcement checking before concreting.
- Check line, level, alignment and dimensions.
- Perform level checking using Auto Level/Laser Level.
- Conduct and maintain concrete cube testing records.
- Inspect concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry and other works.
- Maintain QC checklists, inspection reports and test records.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate for corrective action.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Consultants and Testing Laboratories.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.





Technical Skills – Must Have

- Concrete Cube Testing
- Site Reinforcement Checking
- Level Checking
- Structural drawing reading
- Basic concrete and construction quality knowledge
- Shuttering/Formwork inspection
- Basic MS Excel for QC records and reports
- Knowledge of IS Codes and project specifications

Preferred Advantages

- 5–10 years of practical construction QC experience.
- Building/civil construction site experience..
- Experience coordinating with consultants and testing agencies.
- Valuable observation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
