Role Objective
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving volume growth, expanding retail distribution, and ensuring the visibility of our spice products across assigned territories.
- This role focuses on building robust relationships with retailers and distributors to ensure our brand remains the market leader in the category.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Achieve daily and monthly secondary sales targets by visiting retail outlets (Kirana, supermarkets, and wholesalers) according to a fixed Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
- Distribution Expansion: Identify and onboard new outlets to increase the "Numeric Distribution" of the spice portfolio.
- Merchandising: Ensure "Eye-Level" placement of products on shelves and execute the placement of Point-of-Sale (POS) materials like danglers and dispensers.
- Stock Management:
Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure a fresh supply of products using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to prevent expiries.
- Reporting: Use Sales Force Automation (SFA) apps to log daily calls, orders, and competitor activities (pricing, schemes, etc.).
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1-3 years in FMCG sales.
- Previous experience in spices, masalas, or food staples is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship building, and basic numerical ability for calculating margins and discounts.
- Requirements: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid license and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned beat.
- Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
