We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – Employee Relations & Business Partnering for a globally respected manufacturing and engineering organization.
This is a key HR leadership role supporting a large manufacturing workforce of approximately 2,500–3,000 employees. The role will focus on strengthening Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, workforce effectiveness, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and people management practices.
The ideal candidate should have strong plant HR experience, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to effectively partner with business and plant leadership.
Note: There is currently no union at the plant. However, the candidate should have solid Employee Relations experience and the ability to proactively maintain a positive and harmonious workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering
- Partner closely with plant leadership and functional heads to implement effective people and organizational strategies.
- Support workforce planning, manpower budgeting, and organizational effectiveness initiatives for a large manufacturing workforce.
- Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
- Coach and support managers on people management, employee engagement, performance, and leadership effectiveness.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends and recommend actions aligned with business objectives.
- Support organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, processes, and best practices across the plant.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders and key stakeholders.
