General Position Summary Firm Information Technology Services Senior Software Engineer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Make an impact with our Technology As a key team member of the Development team as a Senior Software Engineer Microsoft Dynamics 365 This diverse team of techsavvy builders and problem solvers embraces digital transformation and the possibilities technology brings to the future of our industry Were looking for team members who have a solid sense of ownership and drive and who thrive on delivering highquality solutions that are redefining the way MNP does business The IT development team of the Firm IT is responsible for developing and maintaining bespoke platforms and applications for our business users Our team operates with a productcentric approach ensuring solutions are userfocused and longterm ready Our development process is agile using latest advanced technologies to ensure speed quality and innovation National in scope and local in focus MNP is one of Canadas largest professional service firms providing clientfocused accounting consulting tax and digital services to clients Founded in 1958 MNP today is a CAD 2 billion organization with 9600 employees and 154 offices across Canada MNP prides itself on being an advisor to its clients individuals businesses and organizations focusing on their success by delivering personalized strategies and solutions that help clients reach their full potential wherever business takes them MNP set up MNP SPARK its GCC in Bangalore in May 2025 with a focus on enabling the firm drive growth efficiency customer delight and innovation by leveraging high quality talent in India MNP Spark is like any other MNP region office front facing client focused but working with all of MNP regions in Canada to deliver services Responsibilities Design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Sales Project Operations and Power Platform solutions Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Develop customizations plugins workflow and integrations for D365 applications with Power Platform solutions Participate in the design and implementation of integrations between D365 applications and thirdparty systems Connect D365 and Power Platform solutions with internal enterprise systems Actively contribute to troubleshooting efforts for issues within Dynamics and integrations with other systems coordinating effort between users internal teams and Microsoft support Execute and support implementation and adoption of upgrades and new functionality as it is added to the Dynamics Sales Marketing and Project Operations platform Understand and incorporate Dynamics and other licensing models to optimize licensing assignment within D365 applications Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members fostering skill development and knowledge enhancement Support the establishment of development integration and data management standards Ensure adherence to development best practices including code readability modularization reusability and error handling Implement Application Lifecycle Management ALM as per Power Platform and Dynamics best practices Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand requirements and implement technology solutions Requirements Qualification Skills Familiarity with Power Platform administration governance and security such as permissions user authentication OAuth2 and compliance in Power Automate Experience with Azure services Logic Apps Azure Functions and their integration with Dynamics 365 Robust understanding of Microsoft Dataverse formerly Common Data Service Knowledge of D365 Web API and OData services Experience leveraging PowerShell and JavaScript Understanding of DevOps practices including CI CD pipelines for deploying and managing the solutions Experience with the following is considered an asset Experience with Microsoft Copilot especially within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem Proficiency in programming languages such as C NET JavaScript HTML CSS Educational Qualifications Bachelor Or Masters in Technology Engineering Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications Certifications Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Azure an asset Experience At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 including implementation and customization Marketing Sales or Project Operations is preferred At least 3 years of experience in developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps and Power Automate At least 3 years of experience with REST API SOAP and JSON for custom integrations and triggers
