2. Navigate fixed routes or designated paths while keeping to strict timetables.

Practice defensive driving to handle heavy traffic, bad weather, or road hazards.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspections

1. Check tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, and equipment (like wheelchair lifts) before and after trips.
2. Report any mechanical damage or safety issues to dispatch or mechanics.

Keep the interior of the bus clean and free of trash or hazards.

Passenger Care and Customer Service

1. Assist passengers, including children, the elderly, or people with disabilities, getting on and off the bus.
2. Collect fares, issue tickets, or verify passes.

Answer questions about routes, schedules, transfers, and stops.

Communication and Compliance

1. Maintain contact with dispatch or transit managers via two-way radio regarding delays or emergencies.
2. Enforce rules and maintain a calm, orderly workplace among passengers.
3. Complete logs, incident reports, and time sheets accurately.
