We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join Blockly Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and support the video content requirements of SchoolBus2.0.

In this role, you will primarily work on Instagram Reels, short-form videos, product videos, promotional content, educational videos, and marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to turn raw footage, ideas, and product information into engaging and professional video content.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are interested in video editing, storytelling, social media content, and digital marketing. You will get hands-on experience creating content for a real SaaS product and helping build the online presence of a growing technology company.

Success in this role means consistently delivering engaging, high-quality videos that communicate our product and ideas clearly, capture audience attention, and support SchoolBus2.0's marketing and social media goals.

Responsibilities

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos for SchoolBus2.0.
- Create videos explaining SchoolBus2.0 features, advantages, and use cases.
- Edit promotional and marketing videos for products and campaigns.
- Convert raw footage, images, screenshots, and written content into engaging videos.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects, and other appropriate elements.
- Create strong hooks and engaging openings for short-form content.
- Adapt videos into suitable formats for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Create educational and awareness-based videos for schools and parents.
- Edit product demonstrations, tutorials, and instructional videos.
- Maintain consistency with SchoolBus2.0's brand identity and communication style.




- Collaborate with the founders and marketing team to understand content objectives.
- Suggest creative ideas, editing styles, and video concepts based on current trends.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver videos within assigned timelines.
- Organize raw footage, project files, graphics, audio, and other video assets.
- Ensure final videos meet required quality, resolution, aspect ratio, and platform specifications.
- Stay updated with current social media trends and short-form video formats.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or course in Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film, Design, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of at least one video editing tool such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Understanding of short-form video editing and social media content formats.
- Basic understanding of transitions, captions, audio, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Good sense of timing, composition, and storytelling.
- Ability to understand a content brief and convert it into an engaging video.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Portfolio or previous video editing work is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and experiment with new content styles.

Internship Structure

- Duration: 3 months
- Work Mode: Remote
- First 2 Months: Unpaid internship focused on hands-on learning and practical project experience.
- After 2 Months: A performance evaluation will be conducted.
- Third Month: Selected interns may receive a paid internship based on their performance during the first two months.
