Solution Architect — Software, Hardware, Cloud & Integration

Navi Mumbai | Full-time | 10+ years | Software, Hardware, Cloud & Systems Integration

ROLE SUMMARY

Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning software applications, hardware components, networking infrastructure, and cloud services — translating business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions across on-premises, edge, hybrid, and cloud environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design comprehensive solution architectures incorporating software applications, hardware components, networking infrastructure, and cloud services.

• Translate business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.

• Evaluate trade-offs between on-premises, edge, hybrid, and cloud deployment models.

• Define system architecture, component interactions, APIs, data flows, and integration strategies.

• Work with software engineering teams to establish architecture patterns, development standards, and technology roadmaps.

• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure compatibility between embedded systems, IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and enterprise applications.

• Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud architectures using up-to-date cloud services.

• Develop architecture documentation including solution diagrams, interface specifications, deployment architectures, and technical design documents.

• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, availability, and compliance requirements.

• Guide infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

• Review technical designs and provide architectural governance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that improve business outcomes.

• Large assessments, high concurrency, real-time learning, and AI-powered interactions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years overall in software / systems engineering.

• 5+ years in solution or systems architecture.

• 4+ years designing on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Hands-on across on-premises, hybrid, and edge deployments.

• Exposure to hardware / embedded, IoT, sensors, and gateway integration.

• Proven experience defining APIs, data flows, and enterprise integration.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Architecture: Solution/systems architecture, microservices, API-first, distributed and high-availability systems, integration patterns.

• Cloud/Deployment: AWS (or Azure/GCP), cloud-native and hybrid-cloud design, containers/Kubernetes, IaC, on-prem/edge trade-offs.

• Hardware/IoT: Embedded systems, IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and their integration with enterprise applications.

• Networking/Infra: Networking infrastructure, infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity.

• Security/Quality: Security, scalability, performance, availability, and compliance by design.

• Documentation: Solution diagrams, interface specifications, deployment architectures, technical design documents.

• Governance: Architecture reviews, design governance, development standards, technology roadmaps.

PREFERRED

• EdTech, LMS, ERP, assessments, or large-scale SaaS platforms.

• IoT / edge platforms, hybrid deployments, and AI/LLM-enabled solutions.

• AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent architecture certifications.

• Bachelor's required; Master's preferred.

FIRST 12 MONTHS

• Establish solution architecture standards, patterns, and documentation practices.

• Deliver reference architectures spanning software, hardware, and cloud.

• Strengthen integration between enterprise applications and IoT / edge / hardware components.

• Improve scalability, reliability, security, and deployment quality across solutions.
