About the Opportunity

Our teams work at the intersection of precision engineering, safety-critical design, and next-gen nuclear technology—delivering scalable, certified, and innovation-driven CAD solutions for complex mechanical, structural, and systems-level applications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for nuclear-grade components and assemblies using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with design, stress, and manufacturing engineers to ensure CAD deliverables meet functional, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform design validation through GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis, and clash detection in complex assemblies.
- Support CAM and manufacturing teams by generating toolpaths, NC programs, and fabrication-ready documentation from CAD models.
- Implement and uphold CAD standards, templates, and PDM workflows across cross-functional project teams.
- Conduct design reviews, redline markups, and version control audits to ensure traceability and engineering integrity.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- CATIA V5
- GD&T;
- ANSI/ASME Y14.5
- PDM/PLM Systems
- ISO 9001 Documentation Standards
- Assembly Modeling
- Preferred
- Experience with Siemens NX or Creo
- Background in nuclear, defense, or heavy industrial sectors
- Familiarity with ASME Section III or RCC-M codes
