Position: Field Coordinator

Overview: The Field Coordinator (Operational & Sampling Support) provides management, ground leadership, and direct assistance to the field teams in all field sampling activities including soil sampling, equipment handling, team tracking, and sample transportation within the assigned district. This is a physically demanding role requiring presence and leadership in agricultural fields during sampling campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities

● collection, soil sampling, equipment handling, and sample transportation within the assigned district.

● Oversee and assist in soil collection, handling, and related field procedures.

● Conduct and supervise basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of samples.

● Prepare, verify, and maintain reports related to sampling, team attendance, observations,



and field data.

● Coordinate with team members and senior management to ensure smooth field operations and timely reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

● Minimum 10th Pass (SSC) or 12th Pass (HSC/Intermediate) from a recognised board

● Basic understanding and awareness of agriculture and farming practices is required

● Prior hands-on experience in soil sampling or GHG gas sample collection activities will be a robust added advantage

● Ability to assist with equipment setup, sample labelling, and transport under the supervision of the Field Officer
