Department Commercial Quantity Surveying Industry Real Estate Development Construction Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor PreContracts with strong expertise in Civil Quantity Surveying BOQ preparation quantity takeoffs cost estimation tendering rate analysis value engineering and commercial cost management The candidate should have experience in quantifying quantities from PDF and AutoCAD drawings RCC and structural works reinforcement calculations BBS tender documentation procurement support and cost control for largescale construction or real estate projects Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and measurements from PDF AutoCAD architectural structural and engineering drawings Prepare review and validate BOQs cost estimates budgets cost plans pricing schedules and tender documents Quantify concrete reinforcement masonry blockwork plastering finishes and other civil works Prepare and review BBS and calculate reinforcement quantities from structural drawings Verify quantities dimensions specifications and scope of work for accuracy Conduct rate analysis tender evaluations price comparisons value engineering and cost optimization Support procurement contractor supplier selection contract administration variations claims IPCs and payment certification Prepare cost reports and support project cost control and commercial management Coordinate with project managers design teams consultants contractors and other stakeholders Required Skills Strong knowledge of Civil Quantity Surveying and PreContracts BOQ preparation quantity takeoffs estimation tendering cost management BBS RCC structural and architectural works Experience in quantification from PDF and AutoCAD drawings Proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Excel and QS estimation software Solid knowledge of rate analysis procurement contracts variations claims and payment certification Excellent analytical numerical commercial negotiation and reporting skills Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree in quantity surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field 13 years of relevant experience in Civil Quantity Surveying PreContracts Commercial Management or Cost Management Experience with a Real Estate Developer Construction Company EPC Contractor or Consultancy is preferred Experience in largescale construction or real estate development projects is an advantage Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management will be an advantage
