About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Handover Expert Engineer to conduct comprehensive quality inspections of residential and commercial properties before handover to customers. The ideal candidate should possess practical knowledge of Civil, Plumbing, and Electrical systems to identify defects, ensure quality standards, and deliver a hassle-free handover experience.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Inspection

- Inspect walls, ceilings, floors, and slabs for cracks, dampness, uneven finishes, and structural defects.
- Verify plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, doors, windows, railings, and false ceilings.
- Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and workmanship as per quality standards.
- Check waterproofing in bathrooms, balconies, terraces, and utility areas.

Plumbing Inspection

- Test all water supply and drainage lines.
- Inspect taps, showers, flush systems, wash basins, kitchen sinks, and sanitary fittings.
- Identify leakages, blockages, water pressure issues, and improper slope in drainage systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of geyser points and plumbing accessories.

Electrical Inspection

- Verify operation of switches, sockets, lights, fans, MCBs, DB panels, and earthing.
- Test power outlets and electrical fixtures.
- Ensure proper wiring, labeling, and safety compliance.
- Identify electrical defects and coordinate rectification.

Handover Process

- Conduct detailed snag inspections using digital checklists.
- Prepare inspection reports with photographs and remarks.
- Coordinate with construction teams and contractors for defect rectification.
- Perform re-inspections after corrections.
- Ensure flats/villas are ready for customer handover.
- Assist customers during the possession process by explaining utilities and basic maintenance.

Documentation

- Maintain inspection records and handover reports.




- Upload inspection findings through the company's mobile application.
- Track pending observations until closure.
- Ensure all documentation is completed before possession.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Civil Construction, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
- Ability to identify construction defects and quality issues.
- Familiarity with residential construction standards.
- Good communication and customer interaction skills.
- Basic computer and mobile application proficiency.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and within deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical with relevant field experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in quality inspection, snagging, finishing works, or property handover.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and finishing standards.
- Knowledge of safety and quality procedures.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is an added advantage.
