Key Responsibilities Develop maintain and update detailed production plans and schedules based on customer orders sales forecasts inventory levels and available production capacity Coordinate with sales procurement warehouse and production teams to align production schedules with material availability machine capacity and manpower resources Monitor and track daily production progress against planned targets and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks delays and capacity constraints Prepare and release production orders work orders and job cards to the shop floor as per the master production schedule Conduct regular capacity planning reviews and recommend adjustments to production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery commitments Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials components and packaging materials as per production requirements Maintain accurate production MIS reports capacity utilization dashboards and schedule adherence trackers for management review Identify and escalate production risks material shortages and schedule deviations to the operations manager with supporting data and recovery plans Support new product introduction planning and coordinate production rampup activities with crossfunctional teams Ensure all production planning activities comply with quality standards safety requirements and regulatory guidelines applicable to the manufacturing workplace
