Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services while contributing to technical decisions, architecture improvements, and high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot in a microservices-based architecture.
- Participate in technical design discussions, define service boundaries, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure reliable service communication across distributed systems.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features, including requirement analysis, design, development, code reviews, testing support, and production deployment readiness.
- Write clean, maintainable, and effective code while following development best practices and coding standards.
- Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implement solutions to improve application reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements,



resolve technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to performance optimization and scalability improvements for backend services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–9 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and building enterprise-grade applications.
- Proven experience designing and developing Microservices-based applications.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, API integration patterns, and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and database-driven application development.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, or related field.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with containerization and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with microservices testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and contract testing.
- Experience in production support, monitoring, and performance tuning.
