Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Nutanix Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise virtualisation and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI). The ideal candidate should have expertise in Nutanix AHV, VMware, Hybrid Cloud migrations, Disaster Recovery, Windows Server, Active Directory, Storage, VDI, and enterprise server infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, migration, upgrades, production support, and optimisation of enterprise data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Nutanix HCI clusters across enterprise environments.

• Install and manage Prism Element, Prism Central, and AHV infrastructure.

• Plan and execute VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, and Physical Server migrations to Nutanix using Nutanix Move.

• Configure and manage Disaster Recovery solutions using Nutanix Leap and Data Protection.

• Deploy and administer Nutanix Files, Windows File Servers, and enterprise storage solutions.

• Configure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows infrastructure services.

• Deploy and support VDI environments.

• Perform AOS, AHV, Prism Central, ESXi, BIOS, BMC, and firmware upgrades.

• Configure RAID, storage, and enterprise server hardware

• Monitor infrastructure health using Prism Central, Prism Element, VMware vCenter, and NCC.

• Troubleshoot virtualisation, storage, networking, operating system, and hardware issues.

• Implement backup and recovery solutions using Veeam, Commvault, and Nutanix Data Protection.

• Deploy and administer Nutanix Database Service (NDB).





• Maintain security compliance through vulnerability remediation, firmware updates, and infrastructure hardening.

• Prepare technical documentation, implementation reports, SOPs, and knowledge transfer documents.

• Provide production support, root cause analysis (RCA), customer support, and project implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful infrastructure deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI, AHV, Prism Central, and Prism Element.

• Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, and virtualisation technologies.

• Experience with VMware, AWS, Azure, and Physical Server migrations using Nutanix Move.

• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Nutanix Leap, and Data Protection.

• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, File Server, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Understanding of VDI technologies.

• Experience with enterprise server hardware, RAID configuration, firmware upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Veeam, Commvault, and enterprise backup solutions.

• Basic Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS).

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• Nutanix Certified Multi Cloud Automation (MCA)

• Nutanix Certified Services Core (NCS Core)

• Nutanix Database Service (NDB) Certification

• VMware Certified Skilled (VCP) (Preferred)
