WorkBuddyHR is an early-stage HRTech startup building a up-to-date HRMS platform focused on automation, insights, and simplicity.

We’re solving real HR problems — reducing manual work, improving visibility, and helping teams operate smarter.

We’re currently in the MVP stage, preparing for launch, and looking to build a high-ownership founding team.

What This Role Is About

This is not a typical job.

You’ll be responsible for building the product from scratch, making key technical decisions, and shaping the future of the company.

If you’re looking for structure, stability, or fixed hours — this is NOT the role.

If you want ownership, speed, and impact, this is for you.

️ What You’ll Do

- Own the end-to-end product development
- Build scalable backend systems and APIs
- Design clean, efficient architecture
- Work closely with me (founder) on product decisions
- Ship fast, iterate faster
- Set up the engineering foundation (code, infra,



standards)

⚡ What We’re Looking For

- Strong full-stack or backend experience
- Ability to build from 0 → 1
- High ownership mindset (no hand-holding)
- Product thinking (not just coding)
- Comfortable working in ambiguity
- Based in Bangalore (important)

❌ What This Role Is NOT

- Not a 9–5 job
- Not a high-salary role (initially)
- Not for someone looking for short-term comfort

Compensation

- Meaningful equity (founding member level)
- Opportunity to grow into CTO / Tech Lead role
- Salary will be introduced as we raise / generate revenue
