Job Title Piping Designer Piping Modeller Location Vadodara INDIA Department Engineering Design Reports To Engineering Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Piping Designer Piping Modeller with 1012 years of experience in piping design and modelling specifically for skid packages structural frameworks and static equipment The ideal candidate will have handson expertise in producing detailed 3D models isometric drawings and layout plans in line with project specifications and industry standards Key Responsibilities Design model and detail piping systems for skidmounted packages structures and static equipment including pressure vessels heat exchangers and storage tanks Collaborate with engineers and other design teams to ensure that piping systems integrate seamlessly with other components of static equipment Ensure compliance with design codes standards and safety regulations e g ASME API ASME B31 3 etc Produce Piping Isometrics General Arrangement GA drawings and detailed layout drawings for Piping Structure Static Equipment layout for installation Prepare Material TakeOff MTO lists and assist in procurement activities for materials and components Review and analyse Client vendor documents and specifications to ensure the in line with requirements Provide support during fabrication and construction phases including redlining and asbuilt documentation Conduct clash detection and resolve design issues during the modelling phase Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Piping Engineering or a related field 7 to 12 years of handson experience in modelling Detailing specifically for skid packages Proficient in 3D modelling software e g AutoCAD Cardworx PDS PDMS or Plant 3D Robust understanding of piping design codes and standards e g ASME API ASME B31 3 etc Experience in creating piping layouts Piping isometrics and GA drawings Knowledge of materials and components related to piping systems for Skid packages static equipments Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD Cad Worx Plant 3D PDMS SP3D or E3D Sound knowledge of piping materials fittings valves supports and relevant standards ASME API etc Experience working with 3D modelling GA drawings isometrics and pipe supports Familiarity with static equipment design principles and layout optimization Strong understanding of safety maintainability and accessibility requirements in design Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams Team HR hidden mobile
