As the company expands tje manufacturing footprint, we are establishing a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to support future growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead the complete conceptualization, engineering, planning, development, commissioning, and operational readiness of our new manufacturing facility.

This is a greenfield leadership role where the successful candidate will transform an empty facility into a fully functional, lean, scalable, and world-class manufacturing operation capable of producing high-quality assistive mobility products.

The role demands strong expertise in industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, facility planning, process engineering, automation, quality systems, supply chain integration, and project management.

Responsibilities

1. Plant Conceptualization & Facility Design

Lead the conceptualization and design of the new manufacturing facility by developing an efficient plant layout, production workflow, material flow, warehouse design, and infrastructure plan. Ensure the facility is optimized for productivity, safety, regulatory compliance, and future expansion while incorporating lean manufacturing principles from the outset.

2. Manufacturing Process Engineering

Design, develop, and standardize end-to-end manufacturing processes for all products, including fabrication, machining, welding, surface treatment, assembly, testing, and packaging. Establish robust manufacturing standards, work instructions, process documentation, and engineering controls to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

3. Plant Development, Installation & Commissioning

Manage the complete establishment of the manufacturing plant from infrastructure readiness through equipment installation, utility integration, commissioning, validation, and production ramp-up. Coordinate with contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure the facility becomes fully operational within the planned timeline and budget.

4. Manufacturing Equipment & Technology Development

Evaluate, specify, procure, and implement appropriate manufacturing machinery, tooling, fixtures,



testing equipment, and material handling systems. Identify opportunities to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies and automation that improve productivity, quality, and long-term operational scalability.

5. Industrial Engineering & Lean Manufacturing

Develop and implement industrial engineering methodologies that maximize productivity, optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency. Introduce Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, line balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives to establish a world-class manufacturing workplace.

6. Production Capacity Planning

Develop comprehensive production capacity models by analyzing demand forecasts, machine capabilities, workforce requirements, production schedules, and facility utilization. Ensure manufacturing operations are scalable and capable of supporting both current business needs and future growth plans.

7. Manufacturing Automation & Digital Transformation

Drive the implementation of automation and digital manufacturing solutions by evaluating technologies such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP integration, IoT-enabled monitoring, barcode/RFID tracking, and digital production controls. Enhance operational visibility, traceability, and manufacturing efficiency through data-driven decision-making.

8. Quality Systems & Process Excellence

Establish and continuously improve manufacturing quality systems that ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop process controls, inspection methodologies, traceability systems, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, and statistical quality monitoring to build a culture of quality throughout the organization.

9. Supply Chain & Production Integration

Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to establish efficient material planning, inventory management,



warehouse operations, vendor coordination, and production scheduling processes. Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory levels and overall supply chain efficiency.

10. Greenfield Project Management

Lead the end-to-end execution of the greenfield manufacturing project by managing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, vendor management, contractor coordination, and stakeholder communication. Ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines, financial objectives, and quality standards.

11. Engineering Team Development & Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering and manufacturing team by recruiting skilled professionals, defining organizational structures, developing technical competencies, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

12. Operational Excellence & Performance Management

Establish a performance-driven manufacturing culture by defining and monitoring key operational metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, throughput, quality, cost efficiency, equipment reliability, and workplace safety. Drive continuous operational improvements that enhance competitiveness, profitability, and long-term manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering professional with extensive experience in establishing and scaling manufacturing operations, particularly through greenfield projects. The candidate should possess strong expertise in industrial engineering, facility planning, manufacturing process design, automation, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and project execution. They should demonstrate the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive operational excellence from concept through commercial production. Experience in precision engineering, medical devices, automotive, mobility, or other advanced manufacturing industries, combined with strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities, will be essential for successfully establishing and operating a world-class manufacturing facility.
