- Design, code, test, and deploy Android apps, integrating with backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, responsive interfaces.
- Optimize app performance for battery efficiency and smooth user experience.
- Implement offline data capture and synchronization mechanisms to ensure seamless user experience in low-connectivity environments.
- Develop and manage push notification services for real-time user engagement.
- Handle debugging, unit testing, Google Play Store submissions, and updates to existing apps.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Kotlin (primary) and Java.
- Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Android Studio.
- Experience with Room/SQLite or other local persistence solutions for offline-first apps.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with third-party SDKs such as Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).
- Strong problem-solving skills for edge cases, memory management, and Android lifecycle.
- Knowledge of security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Experience with push notifications (FCM) and offline data synchronization strategies.
