Project Brief: HEISCO Kuwait – Power Station Project

Trehan International is seeking Freelance Recruiters to support the HEISCO Kuwait Power Station project, which requires filling 161 positions for Engineers, Supervisors, and Inspectors.

About the Client – HEISCO, Kuwait:
- Heavy Engineering & Shipbuilding Co. K.S.C. (Public) – a major EPC contracting company in Kuwait.
- Operates across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Shipbuilding & Repair, Dredging & Marine Construction, Civil Construction, and other industrial services.
- Has secured major contracts in Kuwait's power and oil sectors, offering strong project continuity.

About the Project:
- MEW / Power Station project in Kuwait.
- Involves Boiler, Piping, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation Works, along with QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning activities.
- Scope includes maintenance, upgrades, and related EPC works on critical power infrastructure.
- Selected candidates will work with multi-disciplinary teams in office in Kuwait, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Positions We Are Hiring For (Total 161 positions):
- Electrical, Instrumentation & Control: 39 positions (e.g., Project Engineer – E&I;, Site Engineer – Electrical/Instrumentation,



Supervisor – Electrical/Instrumentation, Draftsman E&I;)
- HSE / Safety: 9 positions (e.g., HSE Engineer, HSE Site Coordinator)
- Mechanical (Boiler & Piping): 21 positions (e.g., Project Engineer – Mechanical, Mechanical Engineer – Piping & Structural, Supervisor – Rigging)
- Mechanical (Boiler): 27 positions (e.g., Boiler Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Welding Engineer, HSE Site Coordinator, Supervisor – Structural)
- Mechanical (Piping): 6 positions (e.g., Material Control Engineer, Land Surveyor)
- QA/QC: 78 positions (e.g., QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical, QA/QC Inspector – Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical, Coating Inspector, Supervisor – Welding, Welding Inspector)

Position Overview - Right Fit:
- Experience: Generally 5-10+ years, with specific minimums for certain roles (e.g., 3-5 years in boilers/piping for Project Engineer – Mechanical).
- Qualifications: BE/BTech, Diploma, ITI, relevant certifications (NEBOSH/OSHA, Rigging certification).
- Target Industries: Power plants (thermal, bio-diesel), Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, heavy industrial EPC projects.
- Focus: Prioritize project exposure (site execution) over brand name. Avoid purely commercial/office roles.

Target Companies & Background (India):
- A. Power Generation & EPC Contractors:



Companies executing projects for utilities like NTPC, Adani Power, JSW Energy, Reliance Power.
- B. Heavy Industries with Captive Power: Companies with their own captive power plants (e.g., steel, cement, fertilizer, chemical plants).
- C. Mechanical – Boiler/Profiled Companies: Companies like Mago Thermal, Cheema Boilers, Steamax, Triveni.
- D. Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls – System-Oriented Contractors: Companies working with systems from ABB, Siemens, Emerson, Yokogawa.

What Success Looks Like:
- Goal: Push candidates from Reach-Out → Line-Up (shortlisted for interview) → Turn-Out (actual interview attendance).
- Metrics: Detailed demand, turn-out, line-up, and reach-out numbers are provided for each role.

End-to-End Process Overview:
1. Sourcing: Identify and contact suitable candidates.
2. Screening: Check experience, project fit, communication, and basic eligibility.
3. Gathering Information: Collect required details for shortlisted profiles.
4. Client Interviews: Ensure candidate attendance and preparation for F2F interviews.
5. Salary Discussion & Negotiation: Facilitate final discussions.
6. Offer Acceptance: Support candidates in resolving doubts.
7. Visa Processing & Medical: Coordinate medicals and visa documents.
8. Visa Stamping & Immigration: Assist with stamping and travel formalities.
9. Joining in Kuwait: Candidate travels and joins the project.

Note: This is a freelance opportunity. The focus is on sourcing candidates for a large power station project in Kuwait.
