We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Estimator / Proposal Engineer** with 2-8 years of experience in estimation and proposal preparation for electrical systems including **switchgear, transformers, MV systems, RMU, and PDU** . The role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and an understanding of global standards. **Key Responsibilities** + Prepare **detailed cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and bid documentation** for: + LV/MV **Switchgear systems** + **Transformers (including MV Transformers)** + **Ring Main Units (RMU)** + **Power Distribution Units (PDU)** + Related electrical infrastructure for industrial and datacenter applications + Analyze **customer specifications, BOQs, drawings, and tender documents** + Perform **costing, vendor evaluation, and risk analysis** + Support **proposal development, bid strategies, and value engineering** + Collaborate with **engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams** + Participate in **technical discussions with clients and stakeholders** + Ensure compliance with **regional and international electrical standards and certifications** + Contribute to **continuous improvement of estimation tools and processes** **Technical Skills & Knowledge** + Strong knowledge of: + Electrical distribution systems (LV/MV) + Switchgear, transformers, RMUs, PDUs + Working knowledge of: + **Building Management Systems (BMS)** + **HVAC systems (basic integration awareness)** + Exposure to or understanding of: + **Datacenter infrastructure (preferred/optional)** + Power redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N) + Critical power distribution + Familiarity with global electrical standards and certifications such as: + IEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL, CE, etc. + Ability to review and interpret: + Single line diagrams (SLD)
