Role: Senior Founding Engineer
Location: Bangalore, in-office, 5 days/week

About the role

We are hiring a senior Founding Engineer to build AI systems that operate in the physical world. The work sits across applied AI, distributed systems, infrastructure, deployment, data systems, and real-world execution.

The focus of this role is the layer between model output and reliable action. You will help build systems that observe, decide, and act across complex environments such as factories, datacenters, hospitals, and supply chains. We are looking for someone who has built and scaled serious production systems before.

What you will do:

- Build systems that connect models, decisions, and real-world execution
- Design and scale distributed systems under real constraints
- Own deployments across complex and noisy environments
- Work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and production-grade systems
- Build event-driven architectures for high-throughput systems
- Work on edge deployments with low compute and high throughput requirements
- Build and operate data infrastructure involving ClickHouse, data warehouses, and ELT pipelines
- Debug production issues and improve reliability, performance, latency, and throughput
- Shape architecture, engineering standards,



and how systems are built and run

What we are looking for:

- Strong experience building and scaling systems end to end
- Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and performance
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure, cloud, Kubernetes, deployment, and production operations
- Experience with event-based architecture and high-throughput systems
- Experience with ClickHouse, data warehouses, ELT, or similar data infrastructure
- Ability to work across backend, infrastructure, deployment, and systems architecture
- Strong coding proficiency in Go or Golang, must have
- Comfort with fast-moving, ambiguous environments and high ownership
- Ability to take ideas from concept to production to scale

Valuable to have:

- Experience with infrastructure connected to physical systems
- Experience handling production issues in high-stakes environments
- Experience with edge deployment or resource-constrained systems
- Startup or early-stage experience

This role offers ownership of critical systems from the ground up, exposure to real-world deployments, close collaboration with a small focused team, and the chance to define engineering standards early.
