ABOUT THE JOB

Fish Gold Industries Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Zonal Manager Sales & Marketing to manage and grow the company's Cattle Feed business across an assigned zone of Uttar Pradesh.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Animal Feed/Cattle Feed Industry, with proven expertise in sales management, distribution development, market expansion and field-team leadership.

JOB SUMMARY The Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and business performance across the assigned zone, developing a robust distribution network, managing the sales team, expanding market reach and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets.

The role requires strong understanding of the Cattle Feed market, channel management, territory planning, team leadership and commercial execution.

Role & responsibilities

- Own and drive sales performance across the assigned zone.
- Develop and execute zone-wise sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Expand and strengthen the Cattle Feed distributor, dealer and retail network.
- Identify new markets, channel partners and business opportunities within the zone.
- Lead, guide and monitor the regional/field sales team to achieve assigned targets.
- Ensure effective primary and secondary sales and healthy product movement.
- Monitor territory-wise sales performance, market coverage and team productivity.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand market potential, customer requirements and business gaps.
- Build strong relationships with key distributors, dealers and major customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends and product movement.
- Review sales MIS, forecasts and performance reports and take corrective actions where required.




- Monitor distributor outstanding and ensure disciplined collection follow-up.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch and accounts teams for timely order fulfilment.
- Implement company sales strategies, promotional activities and market-development initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team and ensure accountability.
- Provide management with accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence and recommendations for zone growth.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate; MBA in Sales & Marketing / Business Management preferred.
- Relevant experience in the Animal Feed/Cattle Feed Industry is mandatory.
- Proven experience in regional/zonal sales management within the Animal Feed Industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of Cattle Feed, Animal Nutrition and Feed distribution.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing markets.
- Strong experience in distributor/dealer network development and channel management.
- Experience in leading and managing field sales teams.
- Strong understanding of primary/secondary sales and territory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial decision-making ability.
- Good knowledge of market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Highly target-oriented, self-motivated and result-driven.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone.
