Role Description The Web Specialist will manage and optimize Daali’s online presence, ensuring a seamless, visually appealing, and user-friendly web experience. This full-time, on-site role in Kolkata includes maintaining and updating website content, improving site structure and navigation, and collaborating with design and marketing teams to support campaigns and product launches.

The Web

Specialist will implement front-end changes, troubleshoot technical issues, and monitor site performance and user behavior through analytics tools. Daily responsibilities also involve enhancing page load speed, ensuring cross-browser and mobile responsiveness, and supporting ongoing improvements to drive engagement and conversions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Web Design,



Shopify Website and user experience focused on creating clean, functional, and visually engaging interfaces.
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Development for implementing and maintaining site features and functionality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling, layout, and responsive design across devices and browsers.
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to track performance, interpret user behavior, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Additional qualifications such as proficiency in HTML and JavaScript, familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar), and SEO knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are important for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Information Technology, or a related field, along with prior experience in a web-focused role, is preferred.

Key Roles

- Manage and regularly update the Daali Shopify website.
- Upload and update products, prices, collections, images, descriptions, care guides and inventory-related information.
- Create website banners, landing pages, seasonal collections and promotional sections.
- Ensure the website is visually appealing, easy to navigate and updated with current products and campaigns.
- Support basic SEO, product tagging, website content and e-commerce optimisation.
