About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 6 months–1 year of experience who has a strong interest in film-style editing, visual effects, and storytelling.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable creating engaging videos using SFX, transitions, sound design, cinematic effects, and motion elements.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing, and brand content.
- Create cinematic/film-style edits with strong storytelling and pacing.
- Add SFX, VFX, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance videos.
- Work on sound design, audio mixing, background music, and sound effects.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading.
- Create engaging intros, outros, titles, and text animations.
- Understand the mood and objective of each video and translate it into an effective visual story.
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop new editing styles and concepts.
- Keep up with current video-editing trends, effects, and social media formats.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.

Required Skills





- 6 months – 1 year of professional or robust portfolio-based experience in video editing.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic to good knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SFX, VFX, transitions, and cinematic editing.
- Good sense of timing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Understanding of sound effects and music synchronization.
- Basic knowledge of color grading.
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.

Preferred

- Experience with film-style/cinematic editing.
- Experience creating Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, or promotional content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and advanced effects.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing, SFX, and cinematic work.
