Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Pune Division.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into engaging video content for courses, marketing campaigns, social media, and internal initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing assets, cutting and refining clips, applying transitions, color grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and ensuring brand consistency across all video outputs. The role also involves collaborating with content creators, instructors, and marketing teams to translate concepts into impactful visual stories, optimizing videos for different platforms and formats, and maintaining high technical and creative standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing

- Edit long-form educational lectures and technical tutorials.
- Create engaging short-form videos, Reels and Shorts.
- Edit screen recordings, demonstrations and software tutorials.
- Add transitions, titles, subtitles, graphics and animations.
- Perform audio cleanup, synchronization, noise reduction and basic sound design.
- Perform color correction and overall video enhancement.
- Maintain consistent Future Stack branding across all videos.

Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling
- Create motion graphics, diagrams, infographics and animated explanations.
- Convert complex technical concepts into simple visual stories.




- Create engaging intros, hooks, transitions and outros.
- Develop reusable video templates for courses and social media.
- Use visual storytelling to improve learner engagement and retention.

? AI-Powered Video CreationYou will be encouraged to experiment with modern AI tools for content creation. Experience with tools such as Runway, Google Veo, Sora, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Midjourney or similar AI platforms will be an advantage.

Responsibilities may include

- Creating AI-generated visuals and B-roll.
- Generating backgrounds and animations.
- Creating AI voiceovers where appropriate.
- Using AI-assisted editing and enhancement tools.
- Experimenting with new AI video-generation workflows.

Social Media ContentCreate platform-specific content for:
- YouTube
- YouTube Shorts
- Instagram Reels
- LinkedIn
- Facebook

Repurpose long-form educational content into multiple short-form videos while maintaining the core message. Rkequired Skills
- nowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalent design tools.
- Understanding of video composition, pacing and storytelling.
- Good understanding of typography and visual hierarchy.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and color correction.
- Ability to edit technical/educational content.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good to Have
- Experience in EdTech, YouTube or educational content production.
- Experience creating technology/IT videos.
- Motion graphics and 2D animation skills.
- Knowledge of AI video-generation tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for educational and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and professional-quality output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create compelling visual elements, intros, and explainer segments.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is expected.
- Relevant experience in editing educational, technology, or training-focused videos is beneficial.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, time management skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively on-site are important.
- A diploma or degree in media, film, animation, design, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience, is preferred.
