Hiring Alert!!

Delta Juris Advisors | One full-time position

Most of what makes a good lawyer is learned on live matters - how a case is actually built, where an argument breaks, what a court will and won't accept. We are hiring one Trainee Associate to learn that with us.

Position: Trainee Associate

Openings: One

Engagement: Full time

Location / Work mode: remote

Joining: Earliest mutually agreed date

Open to: Recent law graduates and final-year law students

About the firmDelta Juris Advisors is a legal practice handling civil, commercial, family, regulatory and cross-border matters across India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

In practice that means litigation strategy, research and drafting, evidence and discovery review, case preparation, regulatory analysis, and coordination with clients and counsel in more than one jurisdiction at a time.

The team is small and growing. The person we hire will work directly with the Managing Counsel on live files, not at the edges of them.

The workResearch and writing. Statutes, rules, judgments and other primary sources, turned into memoranda, case briefs, chronologies and research notes someone can act on.

Drafting. Pleadings, applications, correspondence and internal case documents - drafted, marked up, and redrafted.

Evidence and records. Case files, contracts, transcripts and discovery material, read closely enough to catch the inconsistencies, evidentiary gaps and issues worth raising.

Case management. Matter trackers, deadlines, file organisation, and the follow-up that comes out of client meetings and strategy discussions.

You will be supervised throughout, on both Indian and international matters, and given more responsibility as you earn it.

Who we're looking forYou are in the final year of a three-year or five-year LL.B., or you have graduated recently. Beyond that, what counts:

- You can research properly,

and you know the difference between binding authority and something you found on a website.
- You write clearly, and you give facts, citations, formatting and procedure the attention they need.
- You take a task and finish it without being chased.
- You take edits well. Most first drafts here come back marked up - that is the point.
- You are willing to work in unfamiliar jurisdictions and on problems you have not seen before.
- You understand what confidentiality means in practice, not just in principle.
- You are comfortable with Google Workspace and digital case-management tools.
- You want a career in litigation and advisory work, not a line on a CV.

Internships, moots, publications and prior litigation exposure help, but none of them are required. We would rather see how you think and how you write. What you getLive matters from the start. Exposure to Indian and cross-border litigation. Direct, detailed feedback from the Counsels on your research, drafting, evidence review and case strategy — the kind that is hard to get anywhere else this early.

Strong sustained performance can lead to an Associate position, depending on your development and the firm's requirements. It is not automatic, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Terms, plainlyThis is a full-time professional position, not a part-time internship. Final-year students are welcome to apply — but only if your academic commitments genuinely allow a consistent full-time schedule.

Application ProcessLast date to apply: August 31,

2026 – 2:00 PM IST

Interested candidates must reply to this email only with the following:

1. Updated CV.
2. A short cover letter.
3. One writing sample or drafting sample.
4. Current year of study / PQE.
5. Confirmation of availability to join from this week itself.

For the cover letter, please keep the following in mind:

We are always keen to work with thoughtful, committed, and intellectually curious legal minds. But we value more than credentials on paper. If you apply to us, give us a reason to remember your application. Tell us how you think, what kind of legal work genuinely interests you, and what you want to build in the profession.

Generic, template-based applications do not help us understand you, and they usually say very little beyond what hundreds of other applications already do. We are far more interested in clarity of thought, seriousness of purpose, and the ability to communicate with precision.

Good legal work begins with good thinking, and good thinking shows in writing. So do not simply describe yourself as hardworking, detail-oriented, or passionate about law. Show us through the way you write, the way you frame your ideas, and the way you describe a problem you have worked through. Make your application personal, intelligent, and specific.

We do not look for perfection. We look for substance, discipline, originality, and the willingness to learn seriously. If you can bring that, we would be glad to invest our time, trust, and training in you.
