URGENT HIRING | QC CHEMIST – AGROCHEMICAL FORMULATION PLANT

GEEKEN CHEMICALS INDIA LIMITED is looking for an experienced QC Chemist with hands-on experience specifically in an Agrochemical Formulation Plant.

IMPORTANT: Only candidates with relevant Agrochemical / Crop Protection / Pesticides industry experience will be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished agrochemical formulations.
- Conduct physical and chemical analysis as per approved specifications and test methods.
- Hands-on experience in testing of agrochemical formulations such as EC, SC, SL, WP, WG, WDG, etc. will be preferred.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, pH Meter, Karl Fischer, etc.
- Perform assay, purity, moisture, pH, density, viscosity and other formulation-specific quality tests.
- Ensure finished products meet approved specifications and quality standards before release.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, COA and analytical documentation.
- Follow GLP, laboratory SOPs, safety procedures and quality systems.
- Investigate OOS/OOT results and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.




- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Regulatory and QA teams for quality-related issues.
- Support method validation, method development and analytical troubleshooting wherever required.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and handling of laboratory instruments.
- Support continuous improvement of quality control processes and formulation quality.

CANDIDATE PROFILE ✅ Mandatory: Experience in Agrochemical / Crop Protection / Pesticides industry

✅ Hands-on experience in QC of Agrochemical Formulation Plant

✅ Practical knowledge of agrochemical formulation testing and analysis

✅ Experience with HPLC / GC / UV / other QC laboratory instruments preferred

✅ Knowledge of GLP, SOPs, COA, OOS/OOT and analytical documentation

✅ Good understanding of quality standards and laboratory safety

✅ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

✅ B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry or relevant qualification
