Job PurposeLingam Metal Infrastructure is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tekla Modeler to develop accurate 3D structural steel models, fabrication drawings, and project documentation using Tekla Structures. The role requires close coordination with design engineers, project teams, fabrication, and site teams.

Key Roles &

• Responsibilities1. 3D Modeling

- Develop accurate 3D models of structural steel projects using Tekla Structures.
- Model structural members, connections, plates, bolts, and other steel components.
- Ensure models comply with approved structural drawings, specifications, and project standards.

2. Detailing & • Drawings
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings.
- Generate fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Prepare single-part and multi-part drawings.
- Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and ready for fabrication and site execution.

3. Material & • Quantity Reports
- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials)



and material reports.
- Prepare steel quantity take-offs and cutting lists.
- Support material planning and procurement requirements.

4. Coordination
- Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and site teams.
- Identify and resolve modeling clashes and technical issues.
- Incorporate design revisions and maintain updated models.

5. Quality & • Documentation
- Perform regular model checks for accuracy and completeness.
- Follow company standards, project procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper revision control and documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Certification or training in Tekla Structures is preferred.
- Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Tekla Modeler preferred.
- Freshers with robust Tekla Structures training may also be considered for junior-level roles.

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures.
- Understanding of structural steel detailing and connections.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Ability to read structural and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM, material take-off, and reports.
