Role Description The Tekla Modeler role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Tekla

Modeler will create and modify 3D structural steel and PEMB models using Tekla Structures, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing shop and erection drawings, coordinating with design engineers and detailers, identifying and resolving modeling conflicts, and maintaining drawing standards and documentation. The role involves reviewing input from clients and internal teams, updating models as designs evolve, and supporting project delivery timelines.

Modeler will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, constructible models and clear communication across the project team.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for structural steel and PEMB modeling, including 3D modeling and drawing generation.
- Knowledge of structural steel and PEMB detailing standards, connections, and fabrication practices.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings and translate them into accurate models.
- Experience coordinating with engineers, detailers, and project managers to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Attention to detail, strong quality focus, and ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams in Hyderabad.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma/degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a Tekla Modeler or structural steel detailer; experience with miscellaneous structures (stairs, handrails, decks, joists) is an advantage.

- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to steel structures is beneficial.
