Role: Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Bengaluru / Hybrid

Experience: 6–10 years

Function: Talent Acquisition

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who can own and scale hiring across Awign's rapidly growing businesses.

This is a hands-on TA leadership role. You will work closely with business leaders, founders, and functional heads to understand workforce requirements, build hiring strategies, drive sourcing, and ensure timely closure of critical positions.

The role requires someone who is comfortable hiring across business, operations, technology, AI/ML, corporate functions, and leadership roles, while building scalable recruitment processes and a high-performing TA engine.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle across multiple functions and business verticals.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower plans, role requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Build and execute function-wise and business-wise hiring strategies aligned with growth plans.

- Manage both individual contributor and leadership hiring across Operations, Sales, Technology, AI Operations, Corporate Functions, and other business teams.
- Drive direct sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, referrals, professional networks, and other relevant channels.
- Build strong talent pipelines for recurring and critical roles.
- Personally handle and close high-priority and difficult-to-hire positions.
- Lead and mentor recruiters, set clear productivity metrics, and improve team performance.
- Establish recruitment dashboards and track metrics such as TAT, source mix, funnel conversion, offer-to-join ratio, cost per hire, and quality of hire.
- Work with hiring managers to improve interview processes, evaluation frameworks, and candidate experience.
- Drive offer management, compensation discussions, and joining conversions.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand and talent pool for Awign.
- Develop relationships with external recruitment partners and ensure effective vendor management wherever required.
- Continuously improve TA processes through technology, automation, data, and AI-enabled recruitment practices.
- Build proactive talent pools for future business requirements rather than relying only on reactive hiring.
- Ensure recruitment processes are structured, data-driven, and scalable as Awign grows.

What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in high-growth startups, technology companies, internet businesses, marketplaces, staffing, workforce platforms, or operations-heavy organizations.

- Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions.
- Proven ability to handle high-volume as well as niche/specialized hiring.
- Strong hands-on sourcing capability, particularly through LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of recruiters.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with senior business leaders.
- Excellent understanding of recruitment metrics, funnel management, and hiring analytics.
- Strong negotiation and candidate management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth workplace.
- Strong ownership mindset — someone who can identify hiring bottlenecks and solve them rather than simply manage the process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have
- Experience hiring for AI/ML, AI Operations, Robotics, Physical AI, Data Operations, Technology, or other emerging technology roles.
- Experience in startups, gig economy, staffing, marketplace, quick commerce, e-commerce, or internet businesses.
- Experience building TA processes or teams from an early/scaling stage.
- Strong understanding of talent intelligence, sourcing automation, and AI-based recruitment tools.

Why Awign?
- Work at the intersection of Technology, AI, Operations, and the future of work.
- Build talent teams for a company operating at significant scale across India.
- Work directly with senior leadership and business heads.
- Opportunity to build and improve the TA engine rather than simply execute requisitions.
- Exposure to emerging areas including AI Operations, Robotics, Physical AI, and distributed workforce technology.

If you are a hands-on TA leader who enjoys solving complex hiring problems and building high-performing recruitment teams, we'd love to hear from you.
