Job Summary:

The Manager / Sr. Manager – Corporate Relations will drive the institution's corporate outreach and campus placement efforts,building and sustaining strong relationships with recruiters and industry partners. The role is responsible for recruiter acquisition, end-to-end placement management, and student career readiness, working closely with academic teams and management to achieve placement targets.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Corporate Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, recruiters, Talent Acquisition teams, and corporate leaders across various industries.

Recruiter Acquisition:

- Identify, approach, and onboard new companies for campus placements,internships, live projects, and industry engagements.

Placement Management:

- Manage the end-to-end campus placement process, including company coordination, pre-placement talks, assessments, interviews, selections, and joining formalities.

Corporate Visits:

- Conduct regular corporate meetings and visits to explore new hiring opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.

Business Development:

- Develop strategic corporate partnerships and generate recurring recruitment opportunities for students.

Student Coordination:

- Understand student career aspirations and align suitable job opportunities with their profiles, skills, and specializations.

Career Readiness:

- Coordinate GDs, mock interviews, aptitude sessions, employability workshops, and other placement-preparation activities.

Recruiter Relationship Management:





- Ensure high levels of recruiter satisfaction and encourage repeat hiring through consistent engagement and qualified coordination.

Placement MIS & Reporting:

- Maintain accurate databases of recruiters, student profiles, job opportunities, offers, selections, and joining status, along with regular management reports.

Team Management:

- Lead and coordinate the placement team, delegate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely execution of placement activities.

Industry Mapping:

- Track recruitment trends, emerging industries, salary benchmarks, and skill requirements to identify relevant opportunities for students.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Work closely with academic teams, faculty, students, management, and corporate partners to ensure smooth placement operations.

Performance & Targets:

- Achieve institutional placement targets by improving recruiter acquisition, placement percentage, job quality, internships, and corporate engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational qualifications:

MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification preferred.

Required technical and soft skills:

Excellent communication and networking skills relationship management, presentation, leadership, and follow-up skills.

Work experience (Total experience & relevant experience):

5–7 years of relevant experience (Manager) / 10+ years of relevant experience (Sr. Manager)

in placements as a Placement Manager/ Training & Placement Manager/ Corporate Relations Manager/ Placement Head / Placement Officer/Placement Coordinator/Industry Relations Manager/Campus Placement Manager/Corporate Engagement Manager/Career Services Manager.
